Chris Bradford, a recent nursing graduate of St. Louis Community College, went from having a successful professional wrestling career to pursuing a nursing degree at STLCC- Florissant Valley. What do professional wrestling and nursing have in common? On the surface, not much.
Linda Foster

Linda Foster is a fighter. Her story is one of courage and perseverance in the face of personal tragedy and hardship. The 62-year-old-STLCC graduate has twice survived cancer, and earned a certificate and a degree during her struggles.

Angela Hamilton

South St. Louis native Angela Hamilton grew up in a blue-collar family with three older brothers, spending her youth racing bikes and exploring the overflow tunnels of the River desPeres. As the first in her family to attend college, she is an associate professor of English at St. Louis Community College–Meramec. Hamilton is reaching not only beyond the classroom, but beyond the borders of the United States to educate her students.
