St. Louis Community College-Wildwood art students Vicki Hefty, Dion Dion, Michelle Streiff and Jo Jasper Dean were selected to participate in “Food, Glorious Food,” Art St. Louis’ annual celebration of food, wine and art.

The month-long juried, all-media art exhibit features works about and inspired by food and beverage created by artists who live and work within a 200-mile radius of St. Louis.

The exhibit begins on Saturday, July 26, with an opening reception that includes food trucks, live art making and chalk art. Art St. Louis’ gallery is located at 1223 Pine Street and is free and open to the public. The exhibit will close Sept. 11.

Dion and Hefty were also among the artists chosen for “Picture of Health,” the first of three exhibitions that bring a sampling of diverse visual arts to the South Lobby of Barnes-Jewish Hospital. That exhibit features artwork that embodies, illustrates or expresses concepts of physical, spiritual and mental well-being. The exhibit runs through Oct. 1.
