Florissant Valley Presents “Our Town”

Our Town“Our Town,” written by Thornton Wilder, takes the stage at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley’s Terry M. Fischer Theatre at 8 p.m. April 11, 12, 18 and 19 and 2 p.m. April 13. The campus is located at 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson. It is the theatre’s 300th production and a repeat of the very first production at Florissant Valley.

“Our Town” is a 1938 three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder. Set in the fictional American small town of Grover's Corners, it tells the story of an average town's citizens in the early twentieth century as depicted through their everyday lives. Scenes from the town's history between the years of 1901 and 1913 are performed.

The play is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., and directed by Donna Nelson.
