Dual Enrollment

Traditional dual enrollment students take classes on their own, outside of a structured or cohorted program. As a traditional dual enrollment student, you select classes that fit your schedule, your needs and your goals!

1. Apply - Your first step is to complete our free application.
   1. 1. The application is a two-step process
         1. First, you must create an Archer Application account
         2. After creating your account, you must create a new application
      2. You will apply as a "non-degree seeking" and "dual enrollment" student
2. Activate your STLCC credentials - Use the A# you received in an email titled, "Admission to St. Louis Community College" to locate your MySTLCC ID and STLCC email address. 
3. Submit the Dual Enrollment Authorization form - This form must submitted, fully approved, and processed prior to registering for classes. Please allow 3-5 business days for this process to be completed. 
   1. 1. As part of this process, your counselor will submit your high school transcript.
      2. If you have taken the ACT, SAT, or any AP tests, please upload these test scores when submitting your form. We'll need screenshots of your scores that include your full name. 
4. Take the Accuplacer placement test (if needed) - You should consider taking the Accuplacer if:
   1. 1. You have received less than an A in your most recent year of high school English OR you have received less than a B in your most recent two years of high school English
      2. You have not taken Algebra II or you have earned a C or lower in Algebra II. 

1. Log in to STLCC accounts- Use your MySTLCC ID and password to login to your STLCC email, Banner Self-Service, Navigate, and Canvas. You will need to access all of these systems while a student at STLCC. Please allow 24-48 hours after applying for these systems to become active. 
2. Register for Classes (approx.) one week after submitting the dual enrollment authorization form. 
   • Full-time students and part-time students needing help selecting classes must schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor to register for classes. Advising appointments can be scheduled in Navigate. 
   • Part-time students requesting 1-3 specific class sections will be registered by STLCC staff upon completion of the dual enrollment authorization form. To utilize this option, search our Interactive Class Schedule and select specific CRNs (course registration numbers).
3. Sign up for Orientation - Plan to attend a Dual Enrollment Orientation event to tour campus, learn about transitioning from high school into college, and get everything you need to begin the new semester!

2. Pay for Your Classes - After you’ve registered, you can pay for your classes in full by cash, check or credit card at the Cashier’s office on campus or online through Banner Self-Service.
3. Order Your Textbooks - Utilize our online bookstore to order books and have them shipped to your home.
4. Pick Up Your Student ID Card at the Campus Life office.

If you’re taking classes through dual enrollment, you only pay half the normal cost per credit hour. Rates below include a $7 activity fee, a $11 technology fee, and a $5 service fee per credit hour.
