Rodney Gee is a principal for financial advisor diversity performance for Edward Jones. He joined the company in 2000 as a department leader for the human resources function for the Information Systems division, with responsibilities including IS training and the day-to-day recruitment, benefits and compensation administration and management of more than 1,000 associates. Prior to his current position, Gee served as director of human resources for Edward Jones' Service division.
He was named a principal in the firm in 2002. Gee was formerly director of staffing at Monsanto. He also was the director of human resources for Monsanto’s Roundup business unit, genomics technology and corporate research groups. Prior to that time, he was a regional sales manager for Motorola’s marketing, training and development, and staffing organizations.
Gee serves on the boards of Employment Connection and RX Outreach. He also serves on the advisory board of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University's advisory board.
In 2013 Gee received the college's Honorary Degree Award.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from Central Missouri State University in 1981 and completed a master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University in 2001.
