Event - Medical Emergency (Injury or Illness)
Response Action
Stay calm.
Ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Contact Campus Police and 911 for assistance.
Provide clear details including your location, nature of injury or illness, and condition of the individual.
Administer first aid within your training, and as you are comfortable doing so.
Do not move the injured person unless there is an immediate danger to their safety.
Remain with the injured individual and offer reassurance until emergency responders arrive.
Send someone to direct emergency responders to the exact location upon their arrival.
