Located in the historic JeffVanderLou neighborhood is the William J. Harrison Education
Center. The building takes its name and mission from Dr. Harrison, an educator, historian
and civil rights activist. The center provides credit and noncredit courses and contractual
training to bring opportunity to an underserved area.
This 31,000 square-foot facility features an art studio, classrooms, community room,
bookstore and outreach center.
