Paying for College

Direct Payment Options

STLCC accepts direct payment in a variety of ways. Tuition payment options are listed below.

STLCC accepts payments directly from a savings or checking account online via Banner Self-Service.

Cash payments can be made in-person at a campus Cashier’s Office.

STLCC accepts check payments in-person and online.

Checks can be mailed to:

Returned check fee of $25.00 will be assessed for dishonored check payments.

STLCC accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa, online.

A 2.75% convenience fee is applied to all credit card transactions. Effective July 5, 2023 convenience fee will be 2.85%.

STLCC accepts money orders in-person or by mail.

STLCC accepts third-party payment authorizations. When an external organization (not awarding a scholarship) makes a commitment to pay for a student's educational expenses, they are considered a third-party payer.

Third-party organizations must submit a letter of authorization to the Office of Student Accounts:

Electronic authorizations should be sent to studentaccounts@stlcc.edu

The authorization letter should include:

  • Student's name and STLCC ID number
  • Semester covered by funds (Fall, Spring, and/or Summer and year; i.e. Fall 2018)
  • Type of charges and fees covered (tuition, fees, books, etc.)
  • Third-Party contact (person’s name, address, and telephone number)
  • Third-party payers must pay the College directly.

Include a copy of the college invoice with the check for proper application of payment.

Organizations that pay or reimburse students directly will not be allowed to participate in third-party billing.

STLCC now accepts 529 College Savings Plan Payments online with $10 non-refundable service fee. The service fee with this payment method will be deducted from your 529 plan account in addition to the requested withdrawal amount.
