COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Community Vaccination Sites at STLCC

STLCC will partner with St. Louis County Department of Public Health to serve as COVID-19 vaccination sites.

  • St. Louis County is developing a mass vaccination effort for the health and safety of citizens.
  • STLCC-Florissant Valley campus will serve as a community vaccination site for St. Louis County Department of Public Health (DPH).
  • Per St. Louis County DPH: Appointments are scheduled based on the needs and demands of the community. Appointments will be offered Monday-Friday; hours and dates may vary.
  • Vaccinations will take place in the gymnasium.
  • The vaccination site will follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).
  • Other STLCC campuses in St. Louis County may eventually become community vaccination sites, to include Meramec, South County and Wildwood.
  • The College will not schedule vaccines for community members, employees or students.
  • Community members must follow the College’s policies for health and safety while on campus: Wear a mask or face covering, maintain a physical distance of 6-feet, and if you are sick, please do not come to campus.

You must have a scheduled appointment. The vaccination site is not a drive-up or drop-in location.

Appointments are scheduled by St. Louis County Department of Public Health, not STLCC.

You should check with St. Louis County Department of Public Health for specific items, but you will need to show a photo ID for your appointment.

The vaccination clinic serves the community. If you are an employee or a student who thinks you are eligible for a vaccine, please contact St. Louis County Department of Public Health to ask questions.

Vaccines will be given by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals or healthcare professionals in training, adequately licensed or with adequate oversight to vaccinate. Some STLCC nursing faculty or students may be involved in administering vaccinations as part of DPH’s operations.

You’ll be greeted by intake staff who will take your temperature, verify your photo ID and complete paperwork. You’ll be directed to someone who’ll give your vaccine. After you get the vaccine, you will be monitored for 15-30 minutes for adverse reactions.

A first aid station will be in the gym. A physician and nurses will be available for minor injuries or illnesses. For more serious needs, they’ll call 9-1-1.

Health and Safety Requirements

STLCC developed health and safety measures following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and ordinances established by St. Louis City and St. Louis County.

  • Face coverings or masks are required for all students, employees, visitors, etc. while on an STLCC campus, whether inside a building or outside on campus grounds.
  • Maintain 6-feet of social distance.
  • Wash hands frequently.
  • Employees must complete a COVID-19 health screening form before arriving to work at any STLCC location.
  • Students must complete a COVID-19 health screening form with the Healthfully app before arriving at any STLCC location for classes, services or any other College-related business.
  • If an employee tests positive for COVID-19 or is exposed to the virus, they must notify their supervisor immediately. If the employee is on campus, they must leave immediately.
  • If a student tests positive for COVID-19 or is exposed to the virus, they should send an email to: covid19@stlcc.edu. If the student is on campus, they must leave immediately.
  • Employees and students must have written permission from a medical professional to return to work or to campus.
