Nursing Program Seeks Public Comments for Site Surveys, Reviews

Student in the STLCC nursing program

St. Louis Community College’s nursing programs are currently undergoing scheduled program reviews and site surveys. These reviews occur every five years for registered nurse (RN) programs and annually for licensed practical nurse (LPN) programs.

St. Louis Community College offers strong nursing education pathways through its associate of applied science (AAS) in nursing and LPN certificate program. The AAS in nursing, available at Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec and Wildwood, prepares students for RN roles through coursework, clinical experience and a focus on patient-centered care.

The LPN program, located at the South County Center, builds foundational nursing knowledge and hands-on skills for entry-level practice and provides a clear pathway to continue into the AAS in nursing program.

Together, these programs support student success and help meet the region’s growing need for highly skilled nursing professionals.

Public comments are welcome to help guide program improvement. Please send feedback to Amy Ackerson at amy.ackerson@pr.mo.gov  and/or Sarah McKee at sarah.mckee@pr.mo.gov
