Chesterfield Chamber award certificateSt. Louis Community College-Wildwood has been named Business of the Year by the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. The College received this award at the Chamber’s general membership meeting in January.

The award is presented annually to a business in recognition of its continued involvement and commitment to the Chamber. It is given to a business that exemplifies outstanding support of Chamber events and programs through sponsorship and volunteerism.

STLCC-Wildwood has been an active member of the Chesterfield Chamber for many years. The campus also maintains memberships in other local organizations, including the Eureka Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Chamber of Commerce, West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce and Wildwood Business Association.

STLCC-Wildwood was selected for the award in part due to its ongoing involvement in Leadership Chesterfield, the Chamber’s leadership development program; its sponsorship of the Chesterfield Concert Series; and its participation in the Chamber’s annual Business Expo.

STLCC-Wildwood also has hosted a number of Chamber meetings at the campus in recent years.

“It’s an honor to be chosen for this award,” said S. Carol Lupardus, president and chief academic officer at STLCC-Wildwood. “The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce represents a robust business community. We appreciate the Chamber’s work to support us and our community, and we look forward to our continued involvement for years to come.”
