STLCC-Wildwood Faculty Art Exhibit Now on Display

"Celertiy" by Joan Pirtle-OakleyAs Maya Angelou once said, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

The same can be said for the faculty members whose works will be featured in the Faculty Art Exhibit now on display through March 11 at St. Louis Community College-Wildwood.

The exhibit features the work of Joan Pirtle-Oakley, Nicoleta Petrescu-Tudor and Mark Weber.

Outside of the classroom, each faculty member is an active artist. What they teach in the classroom comes from years of practice and research. The ideas and images they produce in their studios reflect their artistic journey.

The public is invited to explore the exhibit in the Gallery of Contemporary Art at STLCC-Wildwood, 2645 Generations Drive, or by visiting the gallery’s webpage.

For more information about the artists, or to purchase any works of art featured in this exhibit, contact Mark Weber, gallery coordinator, at mweber@stlcc.edu.
