Music Classes for All Levels
Music at STLCC connects classroom learning with real-world performance. Courses are open to students of all experience levels, including those planning to transfer for a bachelor’s degree in music, completing Missouri Transfer (MOTR) courses or simply taking a class for fun.
STLCC’s award-winning ensembles—including concert choir, chamber singers, orchestra, symphonic band, jazz combos and jazz band—welcome both credit students and community members. Participants gain valuable experience through rehearsals and performances, collaborating with Grammy-winning artists and appearing at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall. Guest artist residencies also give students the chance to rehearse and perform with professional musicians.
From personal interest to professional goals, STLCC offers opportunities to learn, perform and build lasting confidence as a musician.
