Classes offered in-person may be rescheduled, canceled or transitioned to an online format based on COVID-19 guidelines. Students are required to follow COVID-19 guidelines for classroom participation, which includes, but is not limited to, use of masks and social distancing requirements.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Whether you work in a service or manufacturing environment, are a member of a quality
team, quality manager or desire to obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for professional
development, this course is for you. Learn the basic tenants of Lean Manufacturing
and Six Sigma, including how to implement the DMAIC process (define, measure, analyze,
improve, control), use Lean tools to reduce waste and enable flow, apply Six Sigma
principles to reduce/sustain variation in a process, and more. Materials are included
in cost of course. Students successfully completing this training will receive a Lean
Six Sigma Green Belt award of completion and 45 hours of instruction. This training
includes an 18-hour capstone simulation project on the last two Wednesday sessions
and consecutive Saturdays. Attendance on all class days is mandatory; if one of these
days is missed, arrangements may be made with the instructor to complete the project
and receive noncredit certification. However, should this be necessary, additional
instructional costs will be charged to the student above and beyond the cost of the
