The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers, with PMPs working in virtually any industry around the world.
Project Management Institute, in their Earning Power Salary Survey (10th Ed.), found that in the U.S., those with a PMP certification earn a higher salary (25% higher on average) than those without PMP certification. Additionally, their 2015 Pulse of the Profession® study found that employers with more than one-third of their project managers PMP-certified complete more projects on time and on budget, meeting original goals.
