Composites Fabrication

This class covers the composite fabrication aspect of aircraft production as well as other applications using composites materials (carbon fiber) – material control, mold preparation, lay-up, vacuuming bagging and curing process. You will learn specific procedures and practice skills on several projects using materials and tools used in composites fabrication including cutting composite material, lay-up, vacuum bag and curing a composite project along with demonstrating adherence to quality principles, teamwork, safety and work ethic. NOTE: This section is not associated with the Boeing pre-employment training program.
