Technology Programs Offered at STLCC
CISCO Networking Academy: CCNA
The CISCO Networking Academy: CCNA program teaches comprehensive networking concepts, from CISCO network applications to the protocols and services provided to those applications by the lower layers of the network. Students will progress from basic networking to more complex enterprise and theoretical networking models later in the curriculum.
Cybersecurity
The Cybersecurity program prepares you for entry-level information assurance/security technician positions that support planning, implementing, upgrading and monitoring security measures that protect computer networks and information systems.
Database Developer
This database developer certificate program equips you with the tools, knowledge, and practical experience needed to design, develop, program, implement and administer a database. The program objectives align with current industry standards. Graduates are qualified for the high demand positions of developer, analyst, administrator or programmer in the Oracle or Microsoft SQL server environment.
IT Help Desk/End User Support
This skill-oriented program prepares you for help desk and desktop support technician positions. The foundational principles of end-user support including client operating system and application software, hardware and software installation, system configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution and computer security.
Network Engineering
The Network Engineering program provides students with an accelerated career pathway, stackable certificates and programs and industry-recognized credentials. With this network engineering degree, students will be prepared for apprentice-level networking positions.
Software Developer
This program provides you with the technical skills and knowledge required to design, write, implement, secure and maintain business software systems in the enterprise. It teaches the principles of software architecture using current development tools, languages and environments.
Web Developer
This certificate is designed for students seeking skills to qualify for positions as a web developer. The program was developed to include topics that will build the programming and database skills a web developer needs in order to build and maintain a corporation’s website.
