About SRCS
STLCC is committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment where all students can learn, grow and succeed. The Office of Student Responsibility and Community Standards (SRCS) helps uphold these values by supporting students, promoting accountability and ensuring College policies are followed fairly and consistently.
SRCS is responsible for overseeing:
- Student conduct referrals.
- Student discrimination complaints.
- Title IX-related concerns.
We also support STLCC Care Teams and help with College compliance efforts, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Jeanne Clery Act and the Stop Campus Hazing Act.

Student Code of Conduct
The College is committed to creating an environment that supports learning and personal growth. All community members are responsible for their behavior and are expected to know and follow College rules. Students must uphold these standards and respect the rights of others.
Nondiscrimination
STLCC fosters inclusive and respectful learning and working environments that serve the needs of our community. The College does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status or any other status protected by state or federal law. These nondiscrimination policies apply to all aspects of admission, employment, financial aid, and educational programs and activities.
Title IX: Gender-Based Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects individuals from sex discrimination in educational programs at institutions receiving federal funding. The Title IX Coordinator manages the College’s response to sex discrimination and sexual misconduct complaints, supports prevention and education efforts on gender-based violence, and helps students with pregnancy-related needs.

These include free counseling with licensed professionals, affordable childcare on campus, grocery support through Archer Market and crisis response from the Student Advocacy & Resource Center. Life doesn’t stop during college, and these resources are here to help you stay grounded, supported and successful, both in and out of the classroom.
