Student Support and Care Coordination
One-on-One Help When Life Gets in the Way of School
It’s hard to focus on school when you are worried about basic needs like a safe place to live, food, clothes, utilities, transportation, childcare and other necessities. SARC offers support to help you find the resources you need so you can stay on track and reach your goals.
Coordinated student support helps you:
- Assess your situation and set achievable goals to move forward.
- Identify the resources available to you on campus and in the community.
- Connect with programs that meet your specific needs.
- Apply for public benefits such as SNAP (food assistance), WIC (food help during pregnancy and for children up to age five), Missouri Medicaid (health coverage), and other community assistance programs.
- Maintain your momentum and ensure you stay on track to achieve your goals.
Schedule an appointment with a SARC team member at your campus.
