Congratulations STLCC Graduates! Commencement will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University.
Commencement Eligibility Requirements & Details
Am I eligible to walk?
Students who graduated in summer 2022 and fall 2022 are eligible to walk at the commencement ceremony. In addition, all eligible spring 2023 graduation candidates and students who are graduating this summer who have fewer than 6 credit hours to complete in their summer session are invited to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Do you plan to walk in the commencement ceremony?
You must RSVP to attend the ceremony by March 19, 2023.
Location:
This year we will be celebrating with our STLCC graduates at the Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University.Paid public parking lots and garages are available in the vicinity of Chaifetz Arena. Review the Chaifetz Arena website for parking and directions.
- Students may arrive at 12:30 p.m. to line up.
- Doors open to guests at 1 p.m.
- The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 p.m.
When you arrive at Chaifetz Arena, follow the directional signs and instructions.
How can I order my cap and gown?
You can purchase a cap and gown from any campus store beginning March 20 and online. The cost is $23. Phi Theta Kappa stoles and printed announcements can also be purchased
for an additional cost.
It is recommended that you purchase your cap and gown early and try them on right
away so you can make sure everything fits properly.
Additional Commencement Details:
- Tickets are not issued for commencement. You are welcome to invite as many guests as you wish.
- There won’t be a rehearsal. You will receive instructions when you arrive at the Chaifetz Arena warm-up area.
- Please wear your regalia to the ceremony. You will be responsible for all personal items you bring into the student waiting area and arena. There won’t be secure storage for your items.
- Chaifetz Arena has a clear bag policy and is a cashless venue. Read Saint Louis University’s Safe Arena Policy for current details.
