St. Louis Community College–Meramec Hosts Community Open House to Showcase New Campus Buildings and Renovations

St. Louis Community College–Meramec invites the community to a celebratory open house on Saturday, March 28. The community can participate in self-guided tours, including the two newest buildings, the Emerging Technology Center and the Financial Services Education Center, as well as recent renovations across the Meramec campus, including the Student Center.

These new facilities are designed to serve as a welcoming gateway to campus while strengthening support for student learning, career exploration and community engagement.

“These buildings are a massive upgrade to the student experience,” said Jeff L. Pittman, PhD, chancellor of St. Louis Community College. “From the new welcome center and library to modern classrooms and spaces for students to study and relax, these buildings are already making a tremendous difference.”

Open House Activities

Guests of all ages — from young children exploring early career ideas to high school students preparing for college and adults considering a career change — are invited to:

  • Tour the new Emerging Technology Center and Financial Services Education Center, as well as other areas of the Meramec campus.
  • Engage in hands-on activities, demonstrations and presentations highlighting STLCC’s academic programs. Dive into activities with gaming, interior design, horticulture, graphic communications, fine arts, computer information technology, and more.
  • Meet program representatives to ask questions and learn about career pathways.
