What is Biomedical Electronics Technology at St. Louis Community College?
Biomedical electronics technology focuses on the equipment and systems that support modern health care. This program prepares you to help keep medical devices safe, reliable and working properly in hospitals, clinics and other health care settings.
You'll learn how to analyze circuits, read schematics, test equipment and troubleshoot technical problems. Coursework also introduces medical device networking, electrical safety standards, hospital regulations and emerging technologies used in health care.
