Institutional Development
Student success is the driving force of the College’s Institutional Development (ID) office. The ID staff pursues external grant funding from agencies, foundations and corporations that is used to establish programs and offer services that benefit students.
The College provides various types of assistance to students through grants, including:
- Child care vouchers for students with young children
- Academic support for low-income, first-generation college students
- Workforce training programs and pre-apprenticeships
- Vocational support for students with disabilities
- College prep services for high school students
The ID department, located at STLCC's Corporate College, collaborates with administrators, faculty and staff to identify and apply for these grants.
