About the Advanced Manufacturing Center 

Located at STLCC-Florissant Valley, the Advanced Manufacturing Center strengthens education, workforce and community partnerships by helping students develop in-demand skills and connect with local employers.

The Center features specialized classrooms for hands-on training in fabrication and technical trades. Its collaborative maker space provides an environment where students, entrepreneurs and small businesses can bring ideas to life. The Advanced Manufacturing Center also offers a variety of services to businesses and industry leaders, including customized training, workforce development and event spaces tailored to industry needs.

Together, these resources connect students to real-world opportunities, foster growth, support local businesses and drive economic development in the region.

School of Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Occupations and Transportation 

Many of the training programs in the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Occupations and Transportation take place at the Center. These include degrees and certificates in high-demand skilled trades such as biomedical electronics, HVAC, precision machining, welding, transportation technology and more.

Early College Program

The Early College Program allows high school juniors and seniors to earn credit toward an associate degree while in high school. Students take classes at STLCC, learn alongside peers and gain access to campus resources such as the library, tutoring services and computer labs. This opportunity empowers students to take charge of their education and career path early on.

Emerson STEM Academy

Developed in partnership with Emerson Electric, STLCC and local school districts, the Emerson STEM Academy offers high school students access to college-level courses in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This dual enrollment program allows students to earn college credits or even complete an associate degree while still in high school, preparing them for future success in STEM careers.
