Thursday, May 7, 2020

STLCC commencementCommencement is an exciting milestone for as many reasons as there are students who are graduating. St. Louis Community College had to change plans for commencement, but has devised a way to acknowledge its 2020 graduates.

While the actual commencement ceremony tentatively has been postponed, graduating students will be recognized with a special video in their honor. The video will debut at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8. Check it out at stlcc.edu/commencement

The video will feature the following speakers:

  • Dr. Jeff L. Pittman, Chancellor
  • Dr. Andrew Langrehr, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
  • Dr. Christine Davis, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
  • Dr. Kevin M. Martin, STLCC Board of Trustees Chair

It also will feature the following student speakers:

  • Jason Parsons, Florissant Valley
  • Edita Sinanovic, Forest Park
  • Beth Burton, Meramec
  • Kris Klein, Wildwood

You also can watch on STLCC’s official social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. And, you’ll be able to see congratulatory messages from family, friends, professors and classmates online at stlcc.edu/commencement
