STLCC Changes Mask Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Employees and Students
Tuesday, June 15, 2021
Effective today, St. Louis Community College will not require fully vaccinated faculty, staff, students or visitors to wear masks or to maintain social distancing – either inside or outside – at most locations.
However, those who are unvaccinated must continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing while indoors at STLCC locations.
Masks will continue to be required at the Child Development Laboratory Center at STLCC-Florissant Valley and in the dental clinic at the Center for Nursing and Health Sciences at STLCC-Forest Park. Masks will be required in other settings as appropriate.
People who prefer to wear a mask, even if vaccinated, are welcome to do so.
Since early 2021, the College has strongly encouraged vaccinations against COVID-19 when vaccines became available in the region. Two campuses served as community vaccination sites – Florissant Valley and Forest Park – in partnership with various agencies such as St. Louis County Department of Public Health, City of St. Louis Department of Health, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and Missouri National Guard.
The College will continue to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the region and will make changes as necessary for the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. More details are available on the College’s COVID-19 information page.
