St. Louis Community College's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technician certificate of specialization (CS) prepares you for a career as an HVAC technician. In just 7 credit hours, you'll learn to install, maintain and repair the heating and cooling systems found in homes.
You'll build the technical skills needed to work in the field. You'll also learn the safety practices and standards employers look for. The program prepares you for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 certification exam, a required credential for technicians who work with refrigerants.
The program is open to students of all ages and backgrounds, including career-changers and first-time workers.
What is the HVAC Technician Program at St. Louis Community College?
