Learn the tools, materials, and visual and artistic perception essential to drawing. Or, as a returning student, continue to sharpen your skills through projects and/or independent work. Portrait Painting in Acrylic or Oil

Create a portrait of a friend, family member, celebrity, stranger or yourself, exploring all aspects of portrait painting. Working from mirrors or photos, explore facial proportions and methods for creating a likeness. Realistic treatment of skin tones and hair also covered. As the instructor demonstrates some techniques, you’ll work at your own pace. All levels welcome, though having a foundation of painting or drawing can be helpful.
