What Can You Do with an Automotive Vehicle Inspection Certificate?

With an automotive vehicle inspection certificate, you can pursue work as a certified vehicle inspector. This credential prepares you to inspect vehicles and verify their safety and compliance with Missouri requirements.

Graduates often work for automotive repair shops, dealerships or government agencies that perform vehicle inspections. In these roles, you may check brakes, steering and suspension systems, review vehicle condition reports and help ensure vehicles are safe for the road.

This certificate can also serve as a starting point for further training in automotive technology or advanced vehicle service careers.
