Boeing Assembly Mechanic Apprenticeship

The Boeing Company and St. Louis Community College launched a new, comprehensive Assembly Mechanic Apprenticeship program. It had previously been the pre-employment program.

The program has four pathways to choose from: Structures, Electrical, Mechanical and Composites. While completing the 15-week program, participants are Boeing employees, with pay and benefits. At the completion, successful candidates will have the chance to convert to a union-represented Assembly Mechanic position where their skills will be enhanced with training and on-the-job learning tailored for a specific program.

The Assembly Mechanic Apprenticeship program is located on the STLCC Florissant Valley Campus.

The application and hiring process is done directly through Boeing.
