Hunger Response

It’s hard to focus on your future when you’re hungry. If you’re forced to decide between eating or education, grab a free meal and learn about other food programs that can help you.

Fighting Hunger on Campus

Archers' Market & Brown Bag Café

A Meramec student idea that has turned into a multi-campus staple, the Archers' Market and Brown Bag Café food pantries offer hungry students a meal and the security of knowing they have a whole community actively supporting them.

All current STLCC students facing food insecurity are eligible to stop by for a bagged meal at the Archers' Market or Brown Bag Café. Simply contact the food pantry on your campus to sign up.

Get Involved

The Archers' Market and Brown Bag Cafés rely on the support of the STLCC community. Whether you give food items, funds or your time, your gift plays an important part in making the market and cafés possible.

  • Food items. Donate non-perishable food items, refrigerated items, frozen meals, produce, utensils, seasonings and toiletries to the Student Assistance Program Office during normal business hours.
  • Funds. Donate funds through the STLCC Foundation (select Annual Appeals fund and write “Archers' Market" or "Brown Bag Café” and designate the desired campus in the comments).
  • Volunteer. Contact the location of your choice to determine what volunteer opportunities are available.

After 4 p.m. at the Forest Park Campus, Archers' Market services are available from TRiO - Student Support Services, located in the Campus Life Suite, Student Center.
