Academic Advising

Our academic advisors are STLCC experts, who can help you succeed and achieve your educational goals. With their knowledge of program, college and transfer requirements, they will help you blaze your path, move down it at the right pace and steer you away from any wrong turns along the way.

What academic advising can do for you.

Our team of academic advisors are here to help guide you on your PATH:

  • Program and Career Advising. Academic advisors will help you use effective decision making when selecting your major and career.
  • Academic planning. Academic advisors will partner with you to create an academic plan that is consistent with your educational and career goals.
  • Transfer advising. Academic advisors will work with you to plan a smooth transition to the college or university of your choice.
  • Holistic Support. Advisors will assist you in getting the support you need to be successful at STLCC.

Academic advisors assist and provide guidance to students in establishing and maintaining good academic standing. If you are not in good academic standing, you are required to meet with an academic advisor on a regular basis and before you may register for your next term.

During the month of August, academic advisors will see students on a drop-in basis. Academic Advising offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m and Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on all campuses. Students may drop-in, call or email. See locations and contacts below.
