The Family Resource Center

Balancing work, family, and school is hard, the Family Resource Center is here to help.

The Family Resource Center

We know it’s hard to balance it school, work, and family, so we created the Family Resource Center (FRC) at Forest Park to assist students with children with resources both on and off campus.

Support

The Family Resource Center offers child development and parenting webinars, as well as virtual family events that are a collaborative effort across the campus.

Resources

Resources

FRC provides individualized services to each family, which includes identifying and navigating community resources such as childcare, special education, housing and utility assistance, domestic violence, health care, etc.

Future Planning

Students will develop action plans with the advising department and/or the career development office the semester before graduation, to ensure a seamless transition into a four year-college or workforce.
