About the STLCC Vax to School Incentive Program

We appreciate your patience while waiting to find out the next steps of the STLCC Vax to School Incentive Program. In August, we announced an opportunity for you to receive $100 for getting vaccinated against COVID-19 for your health and safety. The College strongly recommends a COVID-19 vaccination as an effective way to protect yourself and the community.

The STLCC Vax to School Incentive is voluntary; if you choose to participate to receive $100, please read the details carefully.

Incentive

  • Eligible employees will receive an incentive of $500 through payroll by Nov. 30, 2021.
  • Eligible students will receive an incentive of $100 directly deposited to their student account by Nov. 30, 2021.

Eligibility

Employees

All full-time and part-time employees with an active job assignment as of Oct. 29, 2021, are eligible to receive $500. You must be employed at the College at the time you submit your eligibility information. You must remain employed at STLCC until you receive the payment. If you are not employed on the date the incentive payment is to be made, you will not receive the vaccination incentive payment.

Students

All full-time and part-time students enrolled for credit in fall semester 2021, including dual enrollment students are eligible to receive $100.

  • Students must be enrolled as a current student as of Oct. 29, 2021.
Must Be Fully Vaccinated

A person is fully vaccinated if they have received a complete COVID-19 vaccination. A complete vaccination means you have received both doses of a two-dose series such as Pfizer or Moderna, or a single dose of a one-dose series such as Johnson & Johnson.


How to Submit Proof of Vaccination

If you’ve completed either a one-dose (Johnson & Johnson) or two-dose (Pfizer, Moderna) COVID-19 vaccination, you can submit proof via the STLCC Mobile app.

  1. From a smart device, download or open the STLCC Mobile app.
  2. Choose the appropriate persona such as Current Student or Faculty & Staff.
  3. Sign in with your STLCC email and password.
  4. Locate the “I got my vaccine” Icon
  5. Click the Submit Verification button 
  6. Verify the information on the screen
  7. Checkmark the “I confirm the above information” if all information is correct
  8. Click Step 2 
  9. Under the Vaccine Verification screen, select the vaccine you received
  10. Answer the question
  11. Either choose to locate the image of your vaccine card on your device or take a photo. 
  12. After uploading the image of the vaccine card, click submit 
  13. After receiving the image uploaded successfully screen, the vaccination submission is complete 
  14. Shortly after submission, an email will be sent to your STLCC email address as confirmation

If you don’t have a smart phone or tablet you can download the app to, you can submit your vaccination at the admissions office of any STLCC campus, Monday through Friday, during regular office hours.

Valid proof is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record card; any other official document that shows the dates on which you received a COVID-19 vaccination such as a record from your physician, signed, dated and on letterhead of the health care facility/office. The College reserves the right to determine authenticity and accuracy of records submitted.

Incomplete proof will not be accepted.

Eligible employees and students will submit information and valid proof of vaccination to a secure site provided by the College no later than Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at 5 p.m.


Terms and Conditions of Participation

St. Louis Community College has continually demonstrated its commitment to the health and safety of our campus communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The availability of a safe and effective vaccine is a primary means to optimize the health and safety of our community. To encourage employees and students to be fully vaccinated and to maximize health and safety on our campuses, the College is offering the STLCC Vax to School incentive program to fully vaccinated employees and students.


Privacy and Security of Information

Eligible employees and students are required to submit information and valid proof of vaccination electronically to a secure site set up by the College. The information submitted to verify vaccination status will be used solely for the purpose of determining eligibility for and administering the STLCC Vax to School incentive program. This information will be accessible only to College administrators responsible for administering the program and will be maintained securely by the College in the manner the College retains other records related to health and in accordance with the College's record retention practices.

The safety of students and employees is a top priority for STLCC. Scientific evidence indicates that vaccines dramatically reduce the spread of COVID-19, so we are offering the Vax to School incentive to motivate students and employees to get vaccinated as a way to keep our learning and work spaces as safe as possible.

  • All full-time and part-time students
  • All full-time employees and all part-time employees with an active job assignment as of Oct. 29, 2021
  • All dual enrollment students

As long as you have received both doses of a two-dose vaccine, or you have received a single-dose vaccine like Johnson & Johnson, you are eligible for the incentive, no matter when you received the vaccine.

All employees with an active job assignment as of Oct. 29, 2021 are considered employees for the Vax to School program, regardless of whether or not they are taking classes. Federal Work Study or institutional student workers are not considered employees for this incentive.

Yes, part-time employees are eligible for the Vax to School incentive if they have an active job assignment as of Oct. 29, 2021.

  • Full-time and part-time employees will receive $500.
  • Full-time, part-time, and dual enrollment students will receive $100.

STLCC will follow IRS rules when distributing vaccine incentive payments, which means that employees will have taxes deducted from their vaccine incentive, and students will not have taxes deducted from their vaccine incentive.

  • Employee vaccine incentives will be paid through the STLCC payroll system.
  • Students will be paid through the STLCC student accounts system. The $100 will be distributed according to the preference selected by the student during OneCard activation.
  • Vaccination incentives will be paid by Nov. 30, 2021; date is subject to change.

The most common form of proof is the vaccine record card that you received when you received your vaccine.

  • Reach out to the health care provider who gave you your vaccine to see if they can provide a duplicate card or some other official documentation.
  • Go online and search the state’s website for instructions on how to obtain a duplicate vaccine record.

No, the incentive is only available for those who have received both doses of a two-dose vaccine.

No, only submit proof when you have received both doses of a two-dose vaccine. If you received a single-dose vaccine, you can submit proof any time.

Assistance will be available on each campus in the Office of Admissions/Enrollment Services. Please check your email or contact the office directly for days/times assistance will be available.

Your information will be loaded to STLCC’s secure system and will be protected by the same security that keeps all the information you provide safe.

All proofs of vaccination must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.

Depending on the vaccine, the second dose is administered three or four weeks after the first dose, so you should schedule your first does no later than Sept. 30 so that you can receive your second dose by Oct. 28, one day before the vaccine incentive program ends.

Participation in the STLCC Vax to School Incentive is voluntary. If you don’t want to receive the $100 incentive payment, do not submit your proof of vaccination.
