STLCC-Wildwood Math Professor Wins National Teaching Award

Kim Granger, EdD, math department chair and mathematics professor at St. Louis Community College-Wildwood, has been selected as a 2025 Teaching Excellence Award recipient by the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC).

Dr. Granger, a resident of St. Charles, Missouri, received the award during the keynote session of the AMATYC annual conference in Reno, Nevada. This recognition highlights her contributions to teaching and her commitment to student success at STLCC-Wildwood.

The AMATYC Teaching Excellence Award honors faculty members who demonstrate outstanding teaching, including instructional effectiveness, support of students, professional involvement, professional development activities, collaboration with colleagues, and service to the college community.

As a 2025 honoree, Dr. Granger is automatically approved to present at the 2026 AMATYC conference in Philadelphia, where she will share her expertise with other mathematics educators nationwide.
