Fletcher Helps Students See STLCC as Their Educational Partner
In this role, Fletcher is responsible for managing the College’s recruitment team and working with them to identify opportunities that support this process.
Although Fletcher is new to this position, he’s not new to the College, or the field of higher education. In fact, he brings 18 years of experience to this role, including having served for seven years as manager of admissions and enrollment services at STLCC-Florissant Valley.
“I’m excited to serve in this role because I believe in the College’s mission, and I know that STLCC is our region’s premier center of educational opportunity, providing a welcoming, collegial and diverse environment for all who desire to learn,” he said. “We have so much to offer. I love promoting our unique programs, as well as the talented and committed faculty and staff to students, families, community organizations and other institutions of higher learning.”
When speaking with prospective students, Fletcher said he strives to help them see how STLCC can be their partner in education.
“If there’s an educational or professional goal you’re trying to accomplish, we have the tools and resources to help you get there,” he said. “You have to start somewhere, so why not start at STLCC? The time you spend at our College can create the foundation upon which you build your future.”
Outside of work, Fletcher spends time with his wife and kids, playing games, listening to music and making memories. He’s also a huge boxing fan who loves to watch classic boxing matches as well as contemporary upstarts.
