St. Louis Community College and the Board of Trustees promoted Mark Swadener to vice chancellor for finance.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration-accounting from Indiana University, and a master’s in business administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

“I am delighted to be at STLCC at such an exciting time, and to help facilitate its mission through professional experience in finance and accounting,” said Swadener.

“I am excited to welcome Mark Swadener to the role of vice chancellor for finance,” said Jeff L. Pittman, Ph.D., chancellor, St. Louis Community College. “His experience and understanding of the needs of the College and the impact we have on students and the communities we serve is important in keeping the College’s finances in order.”
