STLCC-Forest Park Makes Navigation of Campus Easier
Navigating the campus of St. Louis Community College-Forest Park will be easier for students, staff and visitors as several sections of its main buildings have been renamed and rooms renumbered.
It became necessary to reimagine how the buildings were designated because of the loss A and B towers, razed in 2018 to make space for the Center for Nursing and Health Sciences. The remaining portions of the C and D towers will be renamed East, while the E, F and G towers will be known as West.
“As we continue to evolve with the Center for Nursing and Health Sciences and STLCC Transformed, we needed to bring the rest of the buildings in line with our future plans," said Julie Fickas, president and chief academic officer at STLCC-Forest Park. "These changes will help all those who come to our campus as a student or visitor."
To further simplify the navigation, all rooms on campus will receive new numbers, except for in the CNHS, Physical Education building and the Mildred E. Bastian Center for the Performing Arts.
The work began in late June and is scheduled to be done prior to the start of the 2022 fall semester on Aug. 22.
