STLCC Faculty Receive Promotions in Rank

Several faculty members at St. Louis Community College have new titles.

Florissant Valley faculty promotionsThe 14 faculty members were approved for promotion in rank at the May 18 meeting of the STLCC Board of Trustees.

Florissant Valley faculty promotions are (pictured right, left to right):

  • Kimberly Barr, who now is an assistant professor in biology/STEM.
  • Joseph Bauer, who now is an associate professor in mathematics/STEM. And
  • Timothy Layton, who now is a professor in English/Liberal Arts.

Forest Park faculty promotionsFaculty from Forest Park who were promoted are (pictured right, top to bottom rows, left to right):

  • Lauren Brynda, who now is an assistant professor in dental hygiene.
  • Margaret Malench, who now is an assistant professor in dental hygiene.
  • Ashley Schroeder, who now is an assistant professor in radiologic technology.
  • William Hocker, who now is an associate professor in computer information technology.
  • Efrem Negash, who now is an associate professor in mathematics.
  • Christine Stephens, who now is an associate professor in nursing.
  • Jason Boehm, who now is a professor in mathematics.
  • Brandy Englert, who now is a professor in mathematics. 
  • Edward Kasule, who now is a professor in political science.
