You can also continue your education at four-year schools, including Missouri State University, which accepts all STLCC hospitality management credits so you can enter as a junior.

What is Hospitality Management at St. Louis Community College?

The hospitality management program at STLCC prepares you for a career in hotels, restaurants, resorts and other service industries. You’ll learn leadership, customer service, event planning, financial management and operational skills that give you a strong foundation for entry-level management positions or career advancement.

The program combines general education with hands-on hospitality courses, including hotel operations, meeting and event planning, supervision and leadership, and a workplace internship.

You can continue your education at four-year schools, including Missouri State University, which accepts all STLCC hospitality management credits. You can also combine this degree with STLCC’s baking and pastry arts or culinary arts programs to prepare for careers owning or managing restaurants, bakeries or other hospitality businesses.
