STLCC's general fine arts program offers a robust education that explores traditional and non-traditional artistic techniques. Students can develop fundamental skills through courses in:

What Can You Do with an Associate of Fine Arts Degree in General Fine Arts?
The general fine arts curriculum is designed to provide studies for the first two years of a four-year program. The associate of fine arts (AFA) degree will facilitate transfer to a bachelor's degree program in an arts-related discipline. The AFA degree not only enhances technical skills but also fosters a deeper appreciation and understanding of the arts, broadening career prospects in roles such as:
