12 week, non-credit training providing hands-on instruction in Industrial Maintenance topics including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, and HVAC.

Industrial maintenance technicians repair and maintain commercial or industrial machinery in buildings and in a plant or factory setting, to ensure the machines' proper functionality.

The industrial maintenance training program prepares participants for entry level jobs in the industrial maintenance industry. Graduates of the IMT program will be able to maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment most commonly used in hi-tech manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety, health and environmental rules and regulations. Students will be ready to earn nationally recognized National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials for Industrial Maintenance Technicians.

This program covers: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, and HVAC.

New Grant-funded Training Opportunity

This training is available at no cost to qualifying students thanks to a partnership with Job Corps Scholars, PepsiCo Uplift Scholarships, the Luber Scholarship and the MoAMP program. Program staff will work with you to determine which of these funding sources is the best fit for you.

Class Schedule

This program is 12 weeks. It requires 30 hours per week of training including lecture, eLearning and hands-on experience.

Requirements for Acceptance

  • Must attend informational session.
  • Must submit required application and paperwork.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must complete WorkKeys Assessments.
  • Must complete Manufacturing Portal: Soft Skills Training, Excel for Business and OSHA 10.
  • Resume will be required on first day of Portal training.
