Industrial Maintenance Technician

Non-credit training providing hands-on instruction in Industrial Maintenance topics including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems and Electrical Systems.

Industrial maintenance technicians repair and maintain commercial or industrial machinery in buildings and in a plant or factory setting to ensure the machines' proper functionality.

STLCC's industrial maintenance training program prepares participants for entry level jobs in the industrial maintenance industry. Graduates of the IMT program will be able to maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment most commonly used in hi-tech manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.

Class Schedule

Classes can be taken separately.

Day: 360 hours | M - Th | 8 a.m. - noon
Evening: 360 hours | M, W | 5 - 10 p.m.

Requirements for Acceptance

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Attend informational session.
  • Complete WorkKeys assessments.
  • Complete OSHA 10 online certification training prior to start of class.
