Get Started with Registration
Getting started is easy—just choose the registration method that works best for you.
First-time STLCC students will register for classes during Archer Orientation.
On the App
Use the STLCC Mobile App for on-the-go registration. Download it now to manage your classes directly from your phone.
Online
Use Banner Self-Service to sign up for classes. After logging in, click on Student Services & Financial Aid and select Registration.
In-Person
Visit any of our campus locations to register for classes in person.
If you haven't applied yet or are not a current STLCC student, please submit an application.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Log in to Banner Self-Service.
- Select the "Student Services & Financial Aid" tab.
- Click on "Registration," then scroll down and select "Add or Drop Classes."
- Choose the correct Credit Term for your registration and click Submit.
- Find the classes you saved under "My List" and either copy and paste or manually enter the Course Reference Number (CRN) into the provided boxes.
- Click Submit Changes. If successful, “Web-Registered” will appear next to your courses. If you need help, contact your advisor.
- Click on the drop-down menu to choose the term you want to register for (example: Credit Spring 2025).
- Select the location(s) where you want to attend classes (example: Florissant Valley).
- Choose the subject you want to view (example: PSY for Psychology).
- Pick the course number and title you're interested in (example: PSY 200 – General Psychology).
- Select an option under "Courses Displayed" (example: Open Only).
- Scroll down and click Display Classes to see the available courses.

Run a degree audit and check your academic plan to view your progress towards requirements and completion. If you need help, contact your student success advisor.
You can find the prerequisites for classes in our course catalog.
To satisfy a prequisite, you must have:
- Completed or be currently enrolled in the prerequisite at STLCC.
- Completed the prerequisite from another college and have had your transcripts officially evaluated at STLCC.
- Submitted your Advanced Placement (AP) scores.
If you have not completed the above, but have proof of meeting a prerequisite, you can submit a request for a course override.
If a course is closed, you can join the waitlist by attempting to register for the course and selecting the "waitlist" option from the drop-down menu in the Add or Drop Classes section.
