St. Louis Community College is a member of many prominent testing networks, including

Pearson VUE is a global leader in professional computer-based testing, partnering
with regulatory and government agencies, certification boards, and organizations in
nearly every industry. Our Pearson VUE Authorized Testing Center (PVTC) offers exams
from more than 100 sponsors, including Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Missouri Department
of Insurance, Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments (MEGA), and American College.

Registration and Scheduling
All registration, scheduling and fee collection is conducted by Pearson VUE. To get
started, visit the Pearson VUE Test Takers site and select your testing program. From the testing program’s page you can:

Scantron (previously Castle Worldwide) offers comprehensive content services built
on a history of developing quality high-stakes certification examinations for organizations
that license or certify the expertise of professionals in various fields, including
medical technology, engineering, athletic training, occupational therapy, and fitness.
Registration and Scheduling
All registration, scheduling and fee collection is conducted by Castle Worldwide.

Certiport is dedicated to helping people succeed through certification. Their globally
recognized credentials are aimed at enhancing individual productivity, marketability,
and value. Our Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC) currently offers certification
exams from Adobe, Autodesk, IC3, Intuit QuickBooks, and Microsoft.
Registration and Scheduling
All Certiport exams require an active Certiport account and exam voucher. If you did
not receive a voucher as part of a class, you may purchase one on the Certiport website.
The STLCC Certification Testing Center charges a $20 proctoring fee per exam. Proctoring
fees are due at the time of testing and should be paid by cash or check.
National Testing Network contracts with public safety departments across the country
to provide professional test administration services. NTN provides access to lists
of prescreened candidates ready for further processing and employment consideration.

Registration and Scheduling
Most exams are scheduled by invitation only, as part of an employer’s or agency’s

Prov offers construction-related and healthcare occupational exams for licensing and
certification. For exam details visit the Prov website, and enter the name of your certification board in the Search for Test Information search bar.

All registration, scheduling, and fee collection is conducted by Prov. To register
online visit the Prov Exam website, select the Test icon on the right-hand side of the page, and select Book

Important Policies and Procedures
Scheduling
All exams must be scheduled at least 24-hours in advance. Walk-ins are not allowed.
Call or visit your testing network’s website to schedule.
Identification
Identification requirements vary by exam. Check with your exam sponsor’s guide for
specifications.
All exams will require at least one form of valid identification that includes a recognizable
photograph and signature. Identification must be original (not a photo copy or digital
ID) and may not be expired. Universally accepted forms of identification include:
Driver’s License
Passport
State ID
Military ID
Arrival Time
Please arrive between 15-30 minutes before your appointment to provide enough time
for check-in. The check-in process generally takes about 5 minutes per candidate.
Candidates will be assisted in order of arrival. If there are questions about identification,
registration, or any pretest qualifications, you will be asked to wait until other
candidates are signed in. Your test will not begin until you are signed in and seated.
Candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late for an exam may be required to reschedule.
Personal Belongings
Personal belongings are not permitted in the testing room. These items include, but
are not limited to:
Food and beverages (may be accessed during breaks)
Weapons of any kind are not allowed on the property
Candidates will be provided with a small locker to store belongings. Large items,
such as backpacks, should not be brought into the facility. The Testing Center is
not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
Accommodations
If you require testing accommodations, such as extended testing time, an exam reader,
or screen magnification, you must submit an official request to your testing network,
and receive approval, before your examination. Our testing center is unable to provide
accommodations without pre-approval from the testing network.
