Institutional Development

Student success is the driving force of the College’s Institutional Development (ID) office. The ID staff pursues external grant funding from agencies, foundations and corporations that is used to establish programs and offer services that benefit students.

Grants make it possible for the college to provide practical assistance to students, including vouchers to help pay for child care for students who have young children, academic support for low-income students who are the first in their families to attend college, workforce job training programs and pre-apprenticeships, vocational enhancement supports for students with disabilities, college prep services for high school students, and more.

Located at STLCC’s Corporate College, ID works with administrators, faculty and staff throughout the college to identify and apply for grants.
