Payment Plans
You have enough to plan for at the start of a semester, a blow to your bank account shouldn’t be one of them. Make paying for college even more manageable when you do it in bite-sized chunks over the course of months.
About STLCC Payment Plans
A payment plan allows you to spread out tuition costs over smaller, manageable installments, reducing the upfront burden and making college more affordable. It offers zero interest, requires no credit check, and includes automatic payments to help avoid missed deadlines. This option provides financial flexibility, helping students focus on their education without the stress of large, one-time payments.
Offered by Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS), students can utilize this payment plan service for spring, summer and fall terms. This is not a loan and no interest or financial charges are assessed. There is a $26 enrollment fee per semester. If a credit/debit card is used, a service fee of 2.85% will be assessed in addition to the enrollment fee.
Tuition (not including books) payments can be split in the two ways:
- Automatic Bank Payment (ACH)
ACH payments are a simple bank-to-bank transfer of funds, which have been preapproved. Payments can be withdrawn from either a checking or savings account and are processed on either the 10th or 20th of each month until the balance is paid in full. - Credit Card
The monthly payment can be automatically charged to a credit card on the 10th or 20th of the month until the balance is paid in full.
If you register for a class after the payment due date then payment is due at the time of registration. You are responsible for payment upon registration. You must drop any classes before the class starts to avoid responsibility for payment of fees.
Pay all fees or sign up for ACH payments by the payment deadline.
Any student with an outstanding balance due will not be able to register for future classes or obtain a diploma. Please allow up to one business day for financial holds to be released when balances are paid in full.
