Auditions in the theatre will start promptly at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
A one-to-two-minute audition monologue is welcome, but not required.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Casting is open, so anyone from the STLCC or broader community may audition.

Synopsis: As a blizzard rages, Henry Harry lies sleeping under a heap of blankets. Suddenly, he is awakened by the insistent knocking of Rosannah DeLuce, a distraught young woman who has fled all the way from Arizona to escape her impending marriage.

Synopsis: The scene is the set where Anthony J. Lefcourt, writer and director, is rehearsing his new play, a “classic whodunit” (in which all the characters are named Butler) with which he hopes to regain the success that has eluded him in recent seasons. Desperately eager to stimulate his cast to their best efforts, he has deliberately withheld the final scene of the play from them, but his patience is worn thin by the petty jealousies and romantic rivalries that detract from their concentration. In an effort to spur them on he “stages” the murder of one of the actresses, after which the plot begins to twist and turn with such dazzling ingenuity — and hilarity — that soon actors and audience alike have lost track of what is real and what is make-believe — until a surprise ending sets matters straight in a most bizarre and ironic way.

Note for all actors: This is an ensemble cast with only two scenes that do not include everyone in the cast. I will do my best to accommodate varying schedules, but the more we can work together, the better the show will be. If you are cast, please block off the six weeks necessary for the show process to unfold.
Performances will take place:
- Nov. 12 at 11:15 a.m.
- Nov. 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m.
- Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.
We are currently looking for backstage crew for our upcoming productions!
We are looking for:
- Sound, lighting, and video board operators
- Stage and run crew
- Props crew
- Costume and make-up crew
- House manager

Florissant Valley Theatre has a well equipped carpentry shop for our shows. We are
always looking for students to get involved and volunteer their time in our shop.
Our staff will train and work with you to make sure you are prepared for all of the
tools and work in the shop. We do recommend you start with any theater class that
is offered each semester at the Florissant Valley campus.
We are always looking for:
- Work study students
- Volunteer student workers
- Practicum students for class credit hours
