Do you want to be in the spotlight? Do you enjoy working with tools? Are you interested in the latest sound and light technology? There are many opportunities to get involved in our theatrical and musical productions! Whether onstage or backstage, we provide the skills necessary to take your passion for theater on to the next level.

 

Auditions for the Terry M. Fischer Theatre production of 

MOTHERS AND SONS

Auditions in the theatre will start promptly at 3 p.m. and at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27th.

A one-to-two-minute audition monologue is welcome, but not required.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

If you are unable to audition at this date and at these times, but still wish to audition, please contact the directors before Feb. 26th at  dbetzler@stlcc.edu or 314-513-4121

Casting is open, so anyone from the STLCC or the broader community may audition.
There are roles available for one women, two men, and 1 child. (age range of child 7 to 12)

“MOTHERS AND SONS” is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC,
 servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. (www.dramatisits.com)

Performances will take place on April 18 at 11:15 a.m., April 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m., and April 21 at 2 p.m.

 

FV stage crew back stage

We are currently looking for backstage crew for our upcoming productions!

We are looking for:

  • Sound, lighting, and video board operators
  • Stage and run crew
  • Props crew
  • Costume and make-up crew
  • House manager

Florissant Valley Theatre has a well equipped carpentry shop for our shows. We are always looking for students to get involved and volunteer their time in our shop. Our staff will train and work with you to make sure you are prepared for all of the tools and work in the shop. We do recommend you start with any theater class that is offered each semester at the Florissant Valley campus.

We are always looking for:

  • Work study students
  • Volunteer student workers
  • Practicum students for class credit hours
