Becoming an Honors Student at Forest Park

Participation in the Honors program is open to qualifying students regardless of major or full- or part-time status. A student will be accepted into the honors program if they have completed 12 hours of courses, level 100 or above and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. If a student does not meet these requirements, they may still be accepted, but further evidence of academic potential is needed. Other eligibility criteria may include:

• Score at least 25 on the ACT
• Score at least 1100 on the SAT
• Obtain the recommendation from a professor, advisor, or counselor.
