Honors Benefits at Forest Park
When students successfully complete Honors work, it is noted on their transcripts.
Those who complete 15 credit hours of Honors work and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 graduate as Honors Scholars and receive special recognition at commencement. The distinction of Honors Scholar indicates your strong commitment to academic excellence. Honors students should complete and submit an Honors Scholar application to the Honors program office by the end of the third week of the semester that the student will graduate.
Participation in the Honors program also gives students a competitive edge as they apply for scholarships at transfer institutions, including Saint Louis University and Washington University. For more information about these scholarship opportunities, contact the Honors program coordinator.
